Georgia Tech Academy of Medicine

Our team had the honor of contributing to the revitalization of one of Atlanta’s most distinguished landmarks - the Georgia Tech Academy of Medicine. Working alongside Winter Construction, who led the overall project as the general contractor, we were brought in to handle the landscape and hardscape redesign of this cherished venue.

A Timeless Transformation

Our work began with a landscape redesign that included both landscape and hardscape elements. We carefully removed outdated plantings from the exterior of the building, creating space for Winter Construction to complete their updates. Once their renovations were completed, our team returned to bring new life to the surroundings - including thoughtfully selected plantings, a new irrigation system, and mulch to create a clean, cohesive foundation for the historic architecture to shine. We then turned our focus to the hardscape transformation, replacing all of the old brick pavers with stunning new Belden Regimental Red 8x8 Brick Pavers, sourced from Alley Cassetty Brick & Stone. These pavers were chosen not only for their timeless color and classic appeal, but also for their durability. They were the perfect complement to the Academy’s classic architecture.

With a tight timeline, given that the venue regularly hosts events like weddings, political meetings, corporate events and social gatherings, our crew worked efficiently to install the new pavers in just one week.

Revitalized Landmark
